In 2015 Y Soft Ventures invested 1 million dollars in the company Sewio Networks, which is developing a unique technology for indoor locating. Both companies started in the JIC MASTER programme and their successful completion of the programme opened the door to the wider world.

Flowmon Networks is a leading supplier of solutions for the protection of corporate networks and is also a graduate of the JIC PLATINN programme. As soon as the programme finished, it opened a branch in Melbourne, Australia.

The company Enantis, based at the JIC, received 52 thousand euros from European funds for research on growth proteins. The European money will help Czech researchers examine ways of how to improve the quality of agents for wound care.

The business accelerator JIC STARCUBE attracted 88 projects from around the world to Brno in 2015. Teams came from a record number of 32 countries from every continent. Only Antarctica was not represented.

In 2015 Konica Minolta opened its first centre for the development of innovative products in Central Europe in Brno. The main partner of the centre is the JIC, which will help the company with establishing new cooperation with local companies, partners and universities.
